SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER JOB AD

Rate of pay: $18-20/hr

Hours of work: 10hr/week (negotiable)

Location: Toronto and area (primarily a work-from-home position, though attendance at scheduled shoots is mandatory)

LQS is seeking a creative and dedicated social media manager to manage our social media presence and help us reach new audiences and engage existing ones.

Responsibilities:

· Create and post high-quality platform-specific content, including written and visual content

· Design and implement social media strategy to build online community

· Manage online communities to ensure respectful, constructive engagement; respond to comments/queries from viewers, subscribers and followers

· Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics

· Run advertising campaigns

· Create animated graphics for use on-set and in post-productions

· Oversee development of cohesive/consistent look and feel of all social media accounts

Requirements:

· Superb writing and communication skills

· Proven experience managing social media platforms

· Ability to deliver strong, engaging content consistent with organization’s identity/voice

· Proficiency in monitoring/analytic tools and experience with paid advertising

· Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Premier, Adobe Cut, InDesign, iMovie, Photoshop, Illustrator

· Knowledge of web design

· Excellent sense of photography and videography

· Up to date with the latest emerging trends and best practices in social media
