We are humbled by the support and interest for the development of Muslim Media Hub, the first of its kind dedicated to harnessing the power of media to advance narrative change about Islam and Muslims in a focused, proactive, creative and collaborate way.
We raised $260k in total. Thanks to the Canadian Race Relations Foundation for putting its trust in us with a starting contribution of $100k. Our community rose to the occasion, generously giving another 160k. The funds raised will allow us to begin the first phase of development.
More than the funds raised, we were thrilled to see how many individuals and organizations wanted to be part of what we were doing. It's clear that this effort is long overdue.
