TELEVISION WRITER
No. of weeks: 10
Hours per week: 35
Hourly rate: $18
Start date: Immediate
Storyboard and write content for various types of videos (explainers, promos and interviews) Brainstorm and develop creative and current story ideas based on a solid grasp of Canadian and international news stories relating to Islam and Muslims Engage in transcription, editing and fact-checking Create articles for website and content for social media Respond to emails and messages from fans and supporters Participate in the development of a publishable book and other reading materials
MARKETING COORDINATOR No. of weeks: 10 Hours per week: 35 Hourly rate: $18
Start date: Immediate
Develop paid and organic digital strategies to increase reach and engagement and generate revenue
Create branding strategy in collaboration with the team and monitor content and products to ensure brand alignment
Explore avenues for online growth and expansion of the company
Create social media posts using Canva or similar design and publishing tools
Establish and maintain a social editorial calendar, including scheduling and drafting copy
Develop a sponsorship package and advertising rates, and liaise with potential sponsors and advertisers
