Moses as a Model Prophet: Lessons from the Quran and the Bible

When John the Baptist was asked if he was the Messiah, Elijah, or the prophet foretold by Moses (PBUH), he clarified he was none of these. This suggests that the awaited prophet was still to come. The Quran further connects Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to Moses, stating:

“Indeed, We have sent to you a messenger as a witness over you, just as We sent a messenger to Pharaoh.” (Quran 73:15)
